Dogs.

I’ve made my living since 2014 by helping families with their dogs. I have founded two companies that specialize in running to help with physical fitness and mental stimulation. This is my proudest professional accomplishment. I’ve been able to grow it consistently and in a sustained manner over six years and hope to continue long into the future. Through intentional decision making and the fortune of working along side talented people, we have built a wonderful community around the shared purpose of dog health.

Because of this success, I was approached to write a book about running with dogs. It is the best way for me to help families with dogs who would benefit from running, who do not live in the Washington D.C. area. I have linked both dog running websites as well as the link to my book on Amazon. It is set to be published and distributed in February 2021, but you can pre-purchase it now.

When it comes to strengths and weaknesses, I tend to value spending time on strengthening the things I am good at rather than working to overcome the areas where I am weak. But, I love a good challenge. Every single thing in this category of my life is based on an irrational self-confidence that not only says, “Yeah, I could do that,” but, “I bet I’d be good at that.” Most of the time it’s a fleeting thought, but this once in my life it became a moment of change. It’s a simple 3-Phase process.

Phase One :

Get fat. Get motivated to get in shape. Run a 5k. Run a 10k… Run a marathon.

Phase Two :

Get sick of running. Learn about getting paid to run with dogs. Get not so sick of running. Start a Dog Running Company in Dallas. Move to DC. Start another Dog Running Company in DC.

Phase Three :

Someone randomly approaches you to write a book. Tell yourself, “Yeah, I could do that.” Write The Book. Start a second Dog Running Company in Annapolis.
